On Sunday, our local logistics coordinator, professor Alagarsamy took us to a temple. On our way there, we passed what seemed to us a like religious marketplace. Hindus can go there and pray for relatives that passed away. There were hundreds of market stalls with gurus. People go to the guru of their choice, give him a donation and receive a blessing. Afterwards we went to a temple. There was a real elephant in there. A really well-trained one. After giving the elephant a rupie, he blessed me with a little nudge of his trump to my forehead.
